you have some wicked salt build up bro… clean your shit…
@GrowFogBox hey man i ordered a fog box. just got it… and the directions are horrible. does the air pump and the fogger go directly in the water?
absolutely fantastic video man! It brings a smile to my face knowing that there are those out there so organized, knowledgeable, and have taken the time to construct such turnkey systems. i wish you years of flourishing profits and products, and good tokes all around. thanks for spreading the knowledge!
Real nice please post more videos.
Supernatural is great for people new to hydro or anyone who doesn’t want to deal with PH and doesn’t mind using a clearing solution (clearex, final flush, super leach, ect) a few time per cycle. You need the clearing solution because this stuff is HEAVY and leaves mineral deposits.
Thank you for your kind words and thought on the matter. It’s always nice when someone with growing knowledge “gets it”. As far as nutes go, you are correct, NPK mineral salts are the way to go. I have used Advanced Iguana organic before with pretty good results, but it makes for quite a chore when it’s time to clean up the boxes & clogs up filters. I have had my best results with a quality 2 part mix like Advanced sensibloom & grow, House & Garden AquaFlakes or the GH grow/micro/bloom 3 part.
it is a budget concern because an adjustable cycle timer, one that allows you to do 1 on 4 off or whatever you choose is about $150, where as a segment timer, 15 on, 15 off is about $10. The water cycle has nothing to do with the light cycle, it remains constant day & night.
It’s a single head, but the largest single head available. We also use a custom, teflon coated, agriculture specific disk in our foggers.
The system is a 3 way hybrid, Aero / fog / DWC. It’s a little cheaper for a single site box, not much though, most of the cost is in the fogger & pumps. You would save about $10 for a single site vs. 6 site.
HOW MANY HEADS DOES THE FOGGER HAVE?
ok hold on, so ur saying “Pumps & foggers are 1 on 5 off or pumps constant & foggers 15 on 15 off depending on budget” Regardless of the lighting just constantly cycling thru out the whole day? What Does the pumps being constant have to do with a budget? Please explain this is just throwing me off big time…
Is the system 3-in-1 like you show, or is it just the fogponic setup? Can I get one cheaper to grow only 1 plant?
Poor Cheech and Chong..if only they’d have had the technology, we could’ve had more movies!
I wanna Buy one How much ? How much is a set up fee
Yes, the FogBox system is a type of SOG, you end up with a complete canopy. The plants will pretty much take whatever space you give them. I just finished up an SCOG grow, I’ll up a video in the near future. As far as roots tangling together, I’ve grown 6 plants, 5 ft tall each in a FogBox XL (45 gallons, 2′x3′) with no issues.
is this possible with SoG style growing? I was thinking of placing longer nets around the roots so they wouldnt tangle with each other.
Clogs can be avoided by using an in line filter or by simply enclosing your pump in a filter bag, pantie hoe or jelly strainer bag.
Foggers require you to change the disks every 90 days or so (replacements are $10). They are solid state, so no moving parts to break. I have had some in continuous operation for over a year.
I use inline filters to prevent clogging. They are available for $20. The have a 200 micron screen, so they keep things nice and clean.
The foggers are agricultural grade with teflon coated disks. I have some that have been in use for over 18 months with a couple of disk changes.
Hi, do u get any problems with the misters clogging,
and how reliable are those foggers. thanks..
so much better after mute… aeroponics will be my next venture
It’s DJ Sasha
